Today marks Lady Gaga's 32nd birthday and her most recent social media post reintroduces Little Monsters to the era right before she splashed onto the scene with "Just Dance" during the mid-2000s.

"Here's me in 2007 right before I dyed my hair blonde and released Just Dance," she captioned the throwback photo on Wednesday afternoon (March 28). "It's now 2018 and I'm so blessed to be turning 32 with a fanbase of Little Monsters I’ve watched spread a message of acceptance and kindness for 10 years now. 💕"

Earlier this week, Sean Penn raved about Gaga's forthcoming film, A Star Is Born, which is scheduled to hit theaters across the country on October 5. "I just saw, what should be a disaster. I saw a remake, the third remake, of A Star Is Born. And if I could do that today, what he did with that story, I'd be staying in the game," the 57-year-old Hollywood titan said during an interview with Marc Maron. "But I don't have the perspective, and maybe not the skill sets. This is one of the most beautiful, fantastic, it’s the best, and most importantly, commercial film I have seen in so many years."

Gaga has primarily been out of the spotlight (and off Instagram) but she did take to the streets of Los Angeles over the weekend to join in on the March for Our Lives movement, which started as a response to the February mass shooting that took 17 lives at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland after a former student opened fire. In addition to the march, the students created a petition asking elected officials to pass a law to ban the sale of assault weapons, prohibit the sale of high-capacity magazines and close loopholes in background checks that allow "dangerous people who shouldn't be allowed to purchase firearms to slip through the cracks."
